FHSD Welcomes New Administrators for 2018-19

Francis Howell School District Welcomes New Administrators


FHSD has a few new faces this school year. Beginning July 1, several new administrators joined the FHSD family or assumed a new role as an administrator.

Megan Abramczyk is the administrative intern at Henderson Elementary. Megan has been an elementary teacher for the last six years in the Wentzville and Warren County School Districts. She recently participated in Wentzville’s aspiring administrator’s program and has served as a summer school administrator.

Jessie Altman was hired as an assistant principal at Francis Howell High School. Jessie began her career as a communication arts teacher at FHHS in 2005. She has served as the dean of students at FHHS for the past two years.

Dr. David Brothers is assuming new job responsibilities as the director of curriculum and assessment. He previously served as the director of assessment and summer programs. The new title comes as a result of restructuring positions on the academic team.

Dr. Andy Downs was selected as the associate principal at Francis Howell Central. He has been an administrator in FHSD for eleven years, serving as a dean, assistant principal, and most recently principal at Francis Howell North. 

Katie Fazio has been named the assistant principal at Castlio Elementary. Katie previously served as the administrative intern at Harvest Ridge Elementary for nine years and also taught fifth grade.

Dr. Chris Garland
 is assuming new job responsibilities as the director of elementary education. She has served FHSD for the past three years as the director of school improvement. The new title comes as a result of restructuring positions on the academic team.

Dr. Nathan Hostetler
 has been named the new principal of Francis Howell North. Nathan served as the principal of Farmington High School for the past five years and prior to that, he was the principal of Potosi High School for four years. He also has experience as an assistant principal and instruction coordinator in Potosi. Nathan also was an English teacher for five years in the Iron County and Southwest R-V school districts.

Dr. Nathan Hoven has been selected as the chief academic officer. Dr. Hoven previously served as an assistant superintendent in the Wentzville School District. He has experience as a high school math teacher and a high school principal.  

Ryan Johnson has been named the dean of students at Francis Howell High. He taught foreign language at Francis Howell North for the past 11 years.

Dr. Callista Kostine has been selected as the administrative intern at Fairmount Elementary. She previously served in this role as the one-year-only administrative intern and served as a principal in Hillsboro

Dr. Lucas Lammers
 has been hired as the director of secondary education. For the past five years, he has served as the associate principal at Francis Howell Central. Lucas has been instrumental in expanding the Advanced Placement program at FHC and across the District.

Ashley Mair
 has been selected as the dean of students at Francis Howell Central. She taught foreign language at Francis Howell Central for the past 12 years.

Tim Scholle
 was appointed as the interim principal at Castlio Elementary for the 2018-19 school year. Tim has served as assistant principal at Castlio for the last five years. Prior to his career in administration, he spent seven years as a teacher at Central Elementary School.

Kerri Tharp has been hired as the administrative intern at Harvest Ridge Elementary. She previously worked as an instructional coach and administrative intern in Iowa.
