Elizabeth Malloy Selected as Assistant Principal at Henderson Elementary

The Francis Howell School District has announced that Elizabeth Malloy has been selected as the new assistant principal at Henderson Elementary School, effective July 1, 2020. Malloy currently serves as the administrative intern at Independence Elementary School.

As an Administrative Intern, Malloy has experience facilitating safety drills and procedures, supervising arrival/dismissal duties, and providing feedback through class visits and evaluations. “I am so excited to begin a new journey at Henderson Elementary! I am looking forward to the opportunity to grow and learn with teachers and students, as well as make a positive impact on the school community.”

Malloy has served the students at Independence Elementary for 13 years. She began her career as a fourth grade teacher and then became a literacy coach. Malloy served as a LEAP intern and transitioned to the administrative intern position at Independence in 2016. She is an instructional leader who works to create an environment of learning for students. Her primary focus is on compiling and analyzing data to guide instruction and interventions.

She has a variety of professional development and leadership experience, including serving on the District Assessment Committee, the Independence School Improvement Team, and the Curriculum Advisory Committee. Malloy has also served as a PLC coach, curriculum writer, and PDC Chair.

Malloy has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s degrees in both elementary education and educational administration from Lindenwood University.
