Dr. Lisa Bohrmann - Principal

Welcome to Henderson! My name is Lisa Bohrmann and I have the honor of serving students, families and the community of Henderson Elementary as the building Principal. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher! The ability to influence, motivate and impact a student’s life is the most rewarding profession.  This is my third year in the Principal role at Henderson. Before that, I was the Assistant Principal at Henderson and the Administrative Intern at Independence Elementary  in the Francis Howell School District. Prior to that, I spent ten years in the classroom teaching in grades 1, 2, 3 and 4!  I received my Bachelor’s from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), my Master’s from Lindenwood University and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. I am mom to two crazy boys who alway keep me on my toes and never cease to amaze me with their curiosity and love for learning. At Henderson, we believe that a student must have a sense of belonging before they can reach their full academic potential. It is my goal to provide a learning environment for your child where they feel loved, supported and able to always do their very best!

Elizabeth Malloy - Assistant Principal

Hello!  My name is Liz Malloy and I am one of the Assistant Principals at Henderson Elementary.    I have had the opportunity to work in Francis Howell School District for the past 17 years as a 4th grade teacher, literacy coach K-5,  as well as an administrative intern prior to my time at Henderson.   Prior to my teaching career,  I attended UMSL and Lindenwood University where I received my bachelors degree in elementary education,  Specialist in Reading and a Masters Elementary Administration.  Currently, I am pursuing my doctorate at Maryville University in Educational Leadership.  At Henderson, you can always find me talking about books or at our book vending machine!  Literacy is my passion and promoting the love of reading and writing for all staff and students at Henderson is a favorite pastime. I love the way books create a community and space where all students can be seen and heard.  And as you have probably guessed at this point- reading is one of my favorite subjects to teach and learn!
