Dr. Lisa Bohrmann - Principal

Welcome to Henderson!
My name is Lisa Bohrmann, and I have the honor of serving the students, families, and community of Henderson Elementary as the building principal. This is my 6th year as principal, and I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to lead such a dedicated and caring school community.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. The ability to influence, motivate, and positively impact a student’s life is truly the most rewarding profession. Prior to becoming principal, I served as the Assistant Principal here at Henderson and as the Administrative Intern at Independence Elementary. Before that, I spent ten years in the classroom teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), a Master’s from Lindenwood University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. I’m also the proud mom of two energetic boys who keep me on my toes and continually inspire me with their curiosity and love of learning.

Last school year, our staff and community came together to reflect on who we are and what we believe. Through that work, we updated our Mission and Vision statements to guide our efforts and shape our school culture:

Mission: Love. Teach. Empower. Everyone. Every day.
Vision: Students will be lifelong learners who are compassionate, supportive, and accepting of others. They will be empowered problem solvers who are prepared for the future and strive for their personal best.

At Henderson, we believe that a strong sense of belonging is essential for students to thrive academically and personally. It is my goal to ensure that every child feels loved, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential every day.

Crissy Veal-Briscoe - Assistant Principal

Hello Henderson Families! My name is Crissy Veal-Briscoe and I am thrilled to serve as the assistant principal at Henderson. I have been in education for 11 years where I have taught at the intermediate grade levels (4,5) for the Fort Zumwalt and Wentzville School Districts. I have served as a grade level department chair, Leader in Me Facilitator, middle school assistant principal. I am entering my 4th year as an Assistant Principal. Prior to my administrative career, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Masters in Educational Administration and Leadership, Educational Specialist Degree in Superintendency, and am currently pursuing my doctoral degree. I am a firm believer that every child has a right to dream big and to accomplish their goals in life and that our school family plays a role in achieving these goals. Working with the Henderson community, our goal is to create a sense of dignity, inclusion, and belonging. Many of us remember our favorite teacher which shows how powerful the impact that positive relationships educators have on students. I look forward to supporting our staff and students this school year and working alongside our Henderson Eagles!

Vicky Fisher - Assistant Principal

Welcome! My name is Vicky Fisher, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Henderson Elementary. With 17 years of experience in education, I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

I began my career as a 4th grade teacher at Parkside Elementary in Desloge, Missouri, where I taught for three years. I then spent the next 14 years at Green Tree Elementary in the Wentzville School District. During that time, I was fortunate to be involved in several leadership and curriculum development roles, including serving on the ELA Curriculum Writing Team, participating in the DESE MAP Test Review and Bias Committee, leading PBIS initiatives, and acting as a Summer School Principal. These experiences helped shape my commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning.

After many years in the classroom, I transitioned into educational leadership to broaden my impact and better support both students and staff. As Assistant Principal, my focus is on building strong relationships with students, supporting staff, encouraging student success, and fostering a positive school culture. I believe that strong schools are built on collaboration, clear communication, and mutual respect—and I strive every day to model those values.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful, blended family. It’s a wild and loud bunch, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I'm originally from Texas and will always be a Texas girl at heart, so I love traveling home whenever I can.

Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself—I’m so excited to get to know all of our wonderful Henderson families!
